Based on the WA-SHBCX-2600, WEIAN Automation has developed the upgraded WA-SHBCX-2900, with enhancements in process integration, production flow, and product range.
The upgrade is not simply an increase in machine size. Instead, the WA-SHBCX-2900 integrates additional processes into the production line to create a more connected and efficient production flow.
1. Machine Design Upgrade: More Processes Integrated
The WA-SHBCX-2900 builds on the WA-SHBCX-2600 with an enhanced machine structure and additional integrated processes.
The WA-SHBCX-2600 focuses on inner box forming and wrapping. The upgraded WA-SHBCX-2900 further integrates bubble pressing and box opening into the production line.
By integrating these additional processes, the WA-SHBCX-2900 reduces intermediate manual handling and creates a more continuous production flow.
The added bubble pressing process helps flatten the box surface, remove trapped air, and ensure closer contact between the wrapping paper and the box. This helps improve the appearance and wrapping quality of the finished box.
2. Production Process Upgrade: Optimized Box Opening and Inner Mold Circulation
Another important upgrade is the production process.
Compared with the WA-SHBCX-2600, the WA-SHBCX-2900 introduces an optimized box-opening process and inner mold return system.
After box opening, the inner molds are returned through a dedicated conveyor for reuse. This reduces inner mold accumulation and improves inner mold utilization, while helping create a more compact production flow.
The optimized process helps:

Improve inner mold utilization
Reduce intermediate manual handling
Create a more compact production layout
At the same time, the bubble pressing process helps create a smoother and cleaner box surface after wrapping. By improving the contact between the wrapping paper and the box, it also helps reduce the risk of glue lifting during box opening.
3. Wider Product Range
The WA-SHBCX-2900 also expands the applicable product range, supporting a wider range of box sizes and premium rigid packaging applications.
Compared with the WA-SHBCX-2600, the upgraded model is designed to handle a broader range of products, making it suitable not only for premium cigarette boxes, but also for gift boxes, cosmetic boxes, and other high-end rigid packaging applications.
